Endicott Interconnect Workers on Edge

A little over a month ago Endicott Interconnect CEO Jay McNamara
went on a tour through out the plant and was displeased by seeing how areas
were being kept. He has since turned Endicott Interconnect into a 3 ring
circus with himself being the ringmaster. He has the Vice President Wade
Phelan running around with Project Managers and Managers acting like
chickens with their heads cut off; checking every nook and cranny to make
sure there is not a spec of dirt. All of this is being felt by the employees. Every time workers turn around there is either a project manager or manager looking in the window at workers to put them on notice as soon as they make a mistake. Employees are afraid to breathe in fear they will be put on notice for something. Managers are putting people on notice for stuff that people would have never even dreamed of. In some areas such as 18-3 people are getting yelled at for not wearing safety glasses in the hallway. Wearing safety glasses in the hallway is something the managers just started to enforce after McNamara's tour. They're telling employees that if they're caught with gum they will be put on notice. Some managers are going as far as searching though garbage cans to see if they find anything to put workers on notice. They have even gone as far as telling
employees that if their locker door is found open they're going to be put on
notice. If that's not bad enough the employees found out recently that they
will be spending 99% of their holiday at work. Employee morale has dropped
dramatically. A lot of workers had saved up their vacation to use around
the festive holiday and that was squashed by the scrooges at E.I.T. It has
become so bad that some managers and techs are quitting. I hope workers,
instead of quitting, will give the Union a chance. The C.W.A. is one of the
most powerful unions in the nation. I hope that everyone remembers how
they have been treated by upper management. This type of treatment is going
to keep on going unless the employees stand up for their rights. Contact
